Rita Ruby was born in a small town in southern Ohio and never got over the music she learned there. Her singing is soulful and honest. Count on her for acoustic Americana at its finest: southern gospel, bluegrass and solid vintage country. She may even tell a story or two. Rita teaches at the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and sings with a bluegrass group and a all-girl trio around town and beyond. | ||
