What is Jazz Hot? Jazz Hot is a style that raged through Europe in the 1930s and '40s. At a time when jazz was what Rock & Roll is today, a French Gypsy named Django Reinhardt was creating a unique style of music that would revolutionize the six-string guitar. Django took a background instrument and brought it up front as a lead instrument. A new sound filled the dance halls and pubs throughout Europe, eventually finding its way to America. What is Rhythm Futur? Rhythm Futur is a group of musicians that have taken this style of music, added a few twists, and put their own unique stamp on it. The strong rhythm section - three acoustic guitars and string bass - combine with violin and a dazzling vocalist to make a great mix. It is a driving sound like nothing you have heard before! |
