Todd Leiter-Weintraub (Hop on Pop)
Kicking around the scene since 1991, Todd Leiter-Weintraub finally started kicking around as a solo artist in 1997 after the breakup of Sub Rosa.

In August of 2002, he sent a copy of his demo collection (Lo-Fi Is Better Than No Fi At All) to Spade Kitty Records owner Matt Walters, who was intrigued enough to offer to release a record for him, provided he re-recorded the songs in a proper studio.

So, Todd called upon his old friends (and former bandmates in Sub Rosa) Dave Kling and Tim Ferguson to back him on this new project, which he dubbed Hop On Pop. After a little searching, Todd wound up right back at the doorstep of Spade Kitty Records, recruiting his benefactor Matt Walters to play keyboards and round out the lineup.

The debut record: "As Drawn By Ethan, Age 2" was released on Spade Kitty Records in April, 2004 to positive reviews and has received airplay on radio stations around the world.
