Academy of Irish Music
The students of the Academy of Irish Music are dedicated, hard working students of academics and music. Most of these children are currently studying traditional and classical music. Irish music is a passion for them and this is what they play in their own time purely for the love of the music.
The children of the Academy come from all different corners of the metropolitan area. Some travel quite a distance to be part of this program.
They are trying to raise money for a Master Class at the Joseph Mooney Summer School in Drumshanbo, Ireland to further their studies in traditional Irish Music. They will be going the latter part of July. |
