Gathering Moss is the band of local Singer/Songwriter Tom Appling. He aims to create melodic rock songs that can't be immediately classified as "Oh, he sounds like so & so". He is also interested in writing lyrics that may need to be heard a few times (or read) to glean meaning as each listener brings individual experiences to interpretation. Music should make you groove and lyrics should make you think. In louder venues Tom is joined by Linc Abbey on drums and B.D.J. (Bass-player du jour) |
