Rebecca Rego
Rebecca Rego was born and raised in the Milwaukee area where has been playing guitar since the age of 9. She began studying classical guitar at 13 with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, where she stayed for three years. At the age of 16 she left the Conservatory and began writing her own music and teaching herself to sing. Slowly she watched her classical background develop into a folk sound. Some of Rebecca’s influences include Bruce Springsteen, Josh Ritter, Shelby Lynne, and Ani Difranco.

In the last three years she has been performing in and around the Milwaukee area opening for bands such as Red Tail and Albatross. She has recently ventured to San Francisco, Portland, Nashville, and Madison, WI where a wide variety of audiences have been amazed by her music and original sound.
