Ilsabe has recorded and played her original "Americana Noir" style songs with a number of great Chicago musicians, including Eric Lugosch, Bob Goins, Steve Rosen, and Steve Doyle. She's currently partnered with guitarist Victor Sanders, who is also producing a second album to be released in the Spring of 2007. Born in Germany, raised in Kansas, Ilsabe has called Chicago home for the past 15 years with artist Mitch O'Connell and their two kids Leo and Kieran. Her debut album "Little Lost Cause" (with "Plaster Caster" co-producer Brian R. Johnson) received strong reviews for excellent lyrics, clever hooks and vocals that intoxicate with a "hint of accent and whiskey." | |
